What is real INDEPENDENCE? What should it mean from now on? Every individual aims to be INDEPENDENT and has to walk their chosen path. Yet at the same time, we all need to be aware of one another's existence and help each other through life. By having will of one's own and thereby emotional independence, we can be considerate towards others and do things to help them. Through the medium of fashion, wnich is a distinguishing feature of a rich and peaceful world.”

commons&sense held a charity exhibition called CLOTH EXCHANGE LIMITED STORE, to communicate the message that "love comes from the strength of being independent!"
43 INDEPENDENT designers have contributed their T-shirt creations to this exhibition, which also takes the form of a LIMITED STORE where you could exchange five T-shirts you no longer need for one of the designers’ pieces. The T-shirts donated to the store were distributed to people in areas affected by war, natural disasters, economic hardship, and other such difficulties.
